Launched in the year 1941 originally by Houbigant, Chantilly is a womenês perfume with an opulent oriental touch to it. The perfume was created by Marcel Billot. The fragrance opens with citrus and fruity scents which are imparted by the presence of lemon, bergamot, neroli, and fruity notes. The heart of the perfume is made up of a variety of exotic flowers and spices, while the base note is a blend of the woody and earthy essences of musk, oakmoss, benzoin and leather among others.
